The Bear Pit Band
The Bear Pit Band is a collective of seasoned musicians dedicated to one thing: playing the songs that define your Saturday night.
We pride ourselves on delivering the high-voltage "bangers" that most bands shy away from. Think the symphonic layers of Mr. Blue Sky, the rhythmic precision of Solsbury Hill, or the pure pop gold of Billie Jean. From the stadium-sized sound of Toto and Tears for Fears to the art-rock groove of Talking Heads, our repertoire is a curated collection of deep-cut favourites and crowd-pleasing anthems.
Our setlist is constantly evolving. If we’ve got a passion for playing it and we know you’ll love hearing it, it’s going in the set. Whether you’re dancing the night away, singing your heart out, or both—we’re here to make sure it's a night you won't forget.

JAZZ
The Spanner Big Band, infused with the infectious personality of leader Dan Spanner with his boundless energy and enthusiasm, bringing humour, surreal observations and audience participation to the big band genre. With a core of loyal and high class musicians, The Spanner Big Band plays music written and arranged by members of the band and other colleagues and friends as well as from the Greats’ repertoires of the past. Formed in 2006, the band play regular gigs, choosing not to rehearse but to hone the music ‘live’. Past residencies include; Tufnells, The Cross Kings, Kings Cross Social Club, Cottons, ‘Round Midnight and The Gunners.

THE BLUES JAM
Every Thursday we host the brilliant Blues Jam. Part live performance with the house band, part jam session where local budding musicians can sign up to join in, this is an exciting night of music that varies from week to week. Music from 8:30pm and free entry!
